Sometimes it takes a rainy morning to help me find what it is that pulls me back together. That thing- I think- is peace. Its being awake and pushing open your window despite the cold wind outside- to feel that breeze - to feel it come alive in your room. There is something about fresh air in my lungs and having space to write. To listen. To be present. That is just so important to my art making process.
Take some time to figure out what is important to you.
It will make your art better, I promise.
Whats the point of trying to say something important if you don't know what you want to say?
